Reflection
The Nuremberg Trials are examples of accountability. During the years prior to World War ii there were no formal rules or regulations in place for extreme crimes against peace, war or humanity. Some describe the Nuremberg Trials as the greatest trial in history. The International Military Tribunal delivered the judgment which established accountability to those who commit aggressive war crimes and crimes against humanity thus establishing the outcome that will fairly protect individuals as well as hold accountable and prosecute individuals who violate conduct. The impactful outcome has set the precedent worldwide for human rights. Egregious atrocities such as concentration and extermination camps that dehumanize should never be a part of this world. The Nuremberg legacy goes on reinforcing world wide accountability.
